PoolRobotMatch is an independent comparison and editorial resource. We are not owned by, or contracted with, any robotic pool cleaner manufacturer, and no manufacturer reviews or approves our content before publication.

How we pick what to cover

We look for robotic pool cleaners that are currently sold in the US and have a genuine, findable product page from their manufacturer. We favor models with enough public information to describe accurately over ones we'd have to guess about. We do not accept payment from manufacturers or retailers to be included in, or excluded from, our catalog.

How we write about products

Every specification we publish traces back to a source we cite — usually the manufacturer's own product page, occasionally a retailer listing when the manufacturer doesn't publish a detail. Where we could not confirm something, we say "Not verified" instead of guessing or estimating a plausible-sounding number. Our "pros" and "cons" and "best for" picks are our own editorial judgment, based on the verified capabilities listed on each product's page — not on price, star ratings, or sponsorship. We deliberately don't track or display Amazon prices, star ratings, or review counts, since those change constantly and we can't keep them accurate.
